Xavier Pujadas (Bassits)

He has a long career and experience as a bassist and musical composer since the 80s. In 1981 he founded the legendary band Kamenbert with his brother and several schoolmates, influenced by the soul, rhythm & blues sound and bands of the 60s. Together with Manuel Crespo he was the composer of most of the group's songs. In 1983 he recorded with Kamenbert the song "Tuve una novia psicodélica" for their first album, which launched them into the Barcelona Mod scene in full alternative cultural effervescence. Until 1986 he performed in dozens of concerts, radio and TV programs. During a long break in his musical career, he took the opportunity to study music and delve deeper into the Blues and American music. He is a bassist with personality who seeks to bring the recognizable flavor of Blues, Rock and R&B to the rhythmic base of "The Deep State" by using the classic sound of the 60s (priority to his Fender with Flat strings and an intense bass tone).

Jean Philippe LATAPIE (Singer)

His father played the sax and accordion, and his mother never stopped singing, so he immersed himself in music at a very young age. At 16 he started playing the synthesizer and sax, exploring different styles and sounds, but then he took guitar lessons, discovering in the harmonies with his teacher that he had an innate gift for singing, so, from there he decided to pursue a musical career as a singer. He took 2 years of group singing classes, then met a producer with whom he composed 12 songs, and joined a pop rock band in France, playing on different stages for 8 years until he moved to Barcelona for work reasons. Once established in the city, he decided to go out and look for a band to take up music again and joined "The Deep State" as lead vocalist, bringing his style and personal touch to the group's Blues Rock.

Eliud Hernández (Guitarist)

He began his musical career at the age of 13 in the city of Caracas, learning string instruments such as the Venezuelan cuatro, classical guitar, bass, keyboards and electric guitar, the latter being the most notable, with a great influence from the greatest exponents of Rock, Blues, Soul and R&B since the 60s. From the age of 18 he began to perform on different stages with cover bands and original songs, making his way into the Caracas music scene, which was in a whirlwind of new styles and innovative proposals with the start of the famous "Nuevas Bandas", a project that made many artists known in Venezuela and which is still a reference in the country. In 2015, for work reasons, he moved to Barcelona and there he continued his musical career collaborating with different bands including Calma band, Old Traster, Five Feelings and "The Deep State", taking his Blues Rock style to the highest level with intense rhythms and solos loaded with a lot of melody.

Carlos Garay (Keybordist)

His interest in music arose from a very early age, influenced by the whole movement of the 60s with the appearance of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, BB King, Elvis Prestley, Eric Clapton, among others, to which were later added those unforgettable decades of the 70s and 80s where there was the greatest musical innovation of the 20th century. However, it was not until many years later, that he decided to carry out his official musical training at L'AULA de Música Moderna y Jazz located in Barcelona, specifically in the specialty of piano, then collaborating in different combos and groups until finally joining "The Deep State" as a keyboardist to contribute all his knowledge and style, with very authentic chords, progressions and harmonies, which generate a very particular sound of the band, taking the Blues Rock repertoire to another level.
